Robin Redesign

First off, YES! This is Dick Grayson. He would be about 14 in this costume. So, I didn't want to draw him in the tidie widies. I mean, seriously? What 14 year old wants to wear spandex underwear while crime fighting?

For this design I made the costume more reminiscent of Tim Drake's 2nd costume or Dick's new costume in Young Justice. I also added shoulder, knee, and elbow pads AND the harness with the "R" on it. And, I eliminated the cape.

It's classic, but I don't really like the mask anymore. So I replaced it with a pair of high-tech motorcycle goggles with a HUD system and a communicator.

Finally, the obviously most confusing part of this design; the gun. A redesign of Batman and Robin on Project:Rooftop ( [link] ) showed Robin as a lookout and a sniper. This Robin was actually Stephanie Brown. But it was still a really cool design. So that's what I did for mine. His sniper is basically a heavily modified NERF Longstrike or Longshot gun (I actually drew a Recon CS-6 lol) that shoots non-lethal tranquilizers.
